After Elle left, Thomas and I made some chocolate chip cookies to take over and share later. He really enjoys helping in the kitchen. It's always interesting cooking with him because he brings the 'play' element to cooking...the spatula becomes a light saber while he's taking the cookies off the cookie sheet after they are baked and there are little dough splatters all over the counter where he tried to see how high he could get above the dough with the hand mixer. :)
They passed the taste test! You can't beat warm cookies and a glass of milk!

These look really yummy! We bake a lot of cookies around our house. Thomas sounds like he is a lot of laughs. I always wanted to have a boy; but haven't gotten one yet! We have SO many nephews and they are so much fun! Sounds like ya'll had a wonderful day!:o)

Awww that is so cute. My little guy loves "helping" me cook in the kitchen, more so than my daughter. Tell Thomas his cookies look delicious!
Okay, Thomas is a doll and those cookies look sooooo good. But! You guys had the WHOLE NIGHT to yourselves?! Good for you, how awesome. Hope you had a wonderful time!
