Saturday

This morning Scott and Thomas went up to Hunt while the girls and I went into town. Now that there is a chill in the air it is time to get some warmer clothes. I had purchased some shirts and shoes last year at the end of the season sales but both kids needed jeans so we went to Target and did some shopping.

This afternoon Scott went golfing with 3 other guys and I caught up on some housework. I have a box of peaches that I bought 2 days ago that I hope to be able to make into some frozen pie filling and canned sliced peaches. This is our 3rd box of Colorado peaches this summer.....they have been so yummy! With some of the last box I pureed them in the food processor and then froze them in icecube trays for little Ava to have in a couple of months. I made a lot baby food when Thomas was a baby and it was so convenient to just take a cube or 2 out of the freezer and defrost it in the microwave. I hope to do a lot of it for Ava as well.

Right now Ava is napping, Thomas and Elle are playing Pac-Man on the Xbox and my oven is heating up for pizza so I better go and get started on the dough!
