I haven't posted in awhile! Last weekend my family came up to Minnesota for a visit....a rainy visit! It rained the whole time they were here. The picture above is of my youngest sister, Hailee, with Ava. I have more pictures that I want to put up here but they are not on my laptop so I will put them up tomorrow instead. We have had a good week of school. Elle is starting to read which she is thrilled about. At the beginning of the month I told Thomas that if he reads at least 10 chapter books in September I will let him pick out a movie to rent so he has been reading several Boxcar Children books. It's fun watching him read them because I remember enjoying them when I was a kid.
Thomas and Elle are also enjoying swimming lessons each week. They've made big improvements since last year! Thomas is learning to dive and Elle can now swim without floaties on.
Ava Mae is rolling over and over and over to get where she wants to go! :) It's cute to watch her. She also gets up on her knees and elbows so she might be crawling within a month or two. I guess that means it's time to baby proof the house! She tried out rice cereal for the first time this morning. She didn't quite know what to think of it. We will give it another try tomorrow.
Scott left for Sweden yesterday and will be back on Friday night. Next week he will be gone in Nashville. :(
Well, that's a little update on some of the things that have been going on around here.
