let's get real monday - the 5 senses

The theme for this week's 'Let's Get Real Monday', hosted by Randi at I have to Say..., is The Five Senses--See, Hear, Smell, Taste, and Feel. My take on this theme is to make my day's to-do list using the 5 senses as my guide.

See
- I'm looking forward to seeing my children's sweet little faces when they wake up this morning.

- I hope to see shiny clean windows in my front entryway today.

Hear
- I will be hearing the sound of the lawn mower as I mow the grass this afternoon.
- I hope to hear lots of laughter.
- Singing in the vehicle while we drive to town to go to the grocery store after breakfast.

Smell
- The cut grass while I mow.

- Dinner tonight on the grill.
- Fresh, clean laundry as I fold it.

Taste
- Oatmeal for breakfast
- Sandwich for lunch

- Cilantro-Garlic Marinated Chicken Breast with Avocado-Papaya Salsa for dinner

Feel
- Lots of hugs and kisses and cuddles
- The chubby arms and legs of my baby
- Accomplishment. I hope to that this quote would ring true for me at the end of this day -
"Look at a day when you are supremely satisfied at the end. It's not a day when you lounge around doing nothing; it's when you've had everything to do, and you've done it." -Margaret Thatcher
