I tried to be a good Minnesota wife and plow the driveway for Scott before he got home from work but truth be told the 4 wheeler is sitting in the garage stuck in low gear and I can't get it out. :) Last time I tried to plow I was stuck at the bottom of the driveway for a long time because the 4 wheeler kept dying on me. I didn't know about the choke or where it was located. At least I made it up and down the driveway a few times today so it's mostly cleared. Ooftah!
(That is the first (and probably last!) time I use Minnesota slang on my blog!)
Update: Well, it turns out that in order get our 4 wheeler out of low gear when it gets stuck like that is to get off of it and rock it back and forth, pick the back of it up, or kick it. Just kidding on that last one.

What a great wife you are for trying to keep the drive plowed! A+ for effort...lol! We got a mini-blizzard here today so, your not alone..although there wasn't much accumulation.
ha! I've used uffda a time or two on my blog. I say it a lot, without realizing it. :)
Wow...look at all that snow! I used to hate plowing snow for the same reasons you mentioned. Hubby could work the plow so much better than I could. It seemed like there was always something wrong with it. Uff Da...indeed! Lol.
Darcy,
You made me laugh today! I didn't read this until just now or I could have told you how to get it out of low gear! Rocking it back and forth always does the trick for me! I am sorry ya'll are getting so much snow! It's 45 here today but yesterday it was 80 and Monday it was 85. How's that for CRAZY???
snow sucks

Yah, what Bob said. You're learning the language and from a true Norwegian/Sweden you need the official spelling - Uff Dah! (although there are other acceptable spellings as well) Now you just need to master about and roof!
Hi! It makes me feel at home to read your blog from time to time. I have only read it a few times, but being a homeschool mom who is a native Minnesotan, relocated to PA, I am thrilled to hear about things from your perspective!
