Well, I can hardly believe it but this is post #700. I would've never thought that I'd stick with blogging for this long - 3 years! It is great to have so much recorded and will be fun to look back on over the years. I feel like it is time to be done blogging though. This wasn't an easy decision and is one I will probably second guess myself about several times. I will not be shutting the blog down just in case I decide in a month or two that I made the wrong decision. :)
Thank you to all of you who have checked in here to keep up with me and my little family. It's been fun to read all of the comments that you have left!

I know this is not what you want to hear but that makes me sad :( I was really enjoying re-getting to know you through your blog after many years of being disconnected. I hope you'll still do Facebook so we can stay in touch! I'm sure that was a tough decision...I haven't had much time for it these days myself! :) Take care!!!
I can relate, though I'm sad to see you go. I posted about 10 blog posts and realized that it was taking so much of my time...and time is so precious. May God bless you and your family!:)
p.s. thanks for not shutting it down yet. i am wanting to make a pin-board like yours for my son's room!
You know I can relate. I'm glad we can still keep in touch on facebook.
I will miss checking in with you and especially all of your wonderful recipes. I completely understand though - I've been thinking about doing it myself.
I love your updates, Darcy! I refer to your blog for all your recipes, too. Guess I better get to printing them off :)
Hope I still see you on Facebook. Take Care,
Nicholle :)
Oh bummer:) But totally understand-I only update once a month it seems.
I guess I'd better start cooking up a storm or printing off some of the recipes.

This is a sad day in blog land. *sniff* I've appreciated checking in on your wonderful life during a long, hard road to recovering from an accident. The sweet faces of your children, tales of the north and your YUM-o recipes will be a loss. Should you decide to hang around and inspire the masses, we'll be glad to have you back. I will miss you out in Blogland. Go Huskers!

Darcy, I know I dont comment much, but I do enjoy your blog. You have been an inspiration and I hope you do decide to continue to blog....although I do understand why you wouldnt...I hardly blogged at all last year.. :) Take Care and will miss you!
Blessings

I am SO sad!!! :( However,I completely understand. I have felt this way so many times but I always miss it when I try to take a break. Sometimes, I just feel like it takes away too much from my family. Anyway, it is late and I am falling asleep typing this. I just wanted to let you know that I will miss your blog. You truly inspire me with your zest for being the best wife and mother you can possibly be. You have been so supportive and so helpful(especially with cooking and homeschooling) Thanks so much for that!! :)
See you on facebook!! (Your not going to quit that, right?!)
~Love,
Julie
I has been nice "knowing" ya! I have come to the same conclusion, yet, I just stopped writing...I can't admit I'm done blogging.
Anyway, thanks for the all the recipes and fun times you shared!
You are missed Darcy! Hope things are going well for you. I've enjoyed your blog for a few years now. Thanks for leaving it up for a while; we've enjoyed your recipes. :)
