Summer is my favorite season, followed closely by fall. I would love it if we could take a couple of months from winter and give them to summer and fall! September and October are so beautiful in Minnesota. A few trees in the neighborhood are just starting to show their autumn colors. I've pulled my shabby looking, water neglected summer annuals and potted cute fall colored mums to decorate by the front door.This last week of summer vacation is being spent getting together with friends to play, picking up lots and lots of books from the holdshelf at the library, finishing up a few more things off the summer project list, and getting ready for company. We are so excited to have family coming up to visit us over the holiday weekend!

I love Fall, too! The new feeling in the air around here is so refreshing! How fun that you are a fellow home schooler, too! We also use Apologia Science (love it!) but we are studying Botany and I LOVE mystery of History! I am learning so much with my girls.
I cannot wait to try some of your recipes... And your linen memo board is fabulous! Lori

You are SO right, fall in Minnesota is just gorgeous! I live here too and it's my favorite time of the year and it makes the ease into winter a little more bearable!! :)
