snow

The snow arrived! It's hard to tell how much we have so far because it's pretty windy out and is drifting. When I scooped the sidewalk there was at least 6 inches and it's still falling. Thomas and Elle played in it for awhile and came in with red faces. The tea kettle is on the stove right now heating up some water for hot chocolate to warm them up.

Oh how fun! Our little ones are praying for snow on the east coast, but it doesn't look like it will ever stick... hopefully someday the Lord will move us to a winter wonderland again so we can play in the snow. Untill then, at least when we visit my family in Iowa and MN, there is snow!

Aren't you glad you don't have to travel to Nebraska in that? It is -3 here today! Brr.......
Reminds me of when we were up there last January. We are burning tons of wood and staying fairly warm. The boys are traveling from Steam Boat and they got over a foot of snow on Saturday. Hopefully not much more and traveling will be safe! We just have a little bit blowing around in the insane NW wind. The kids look COLD but that never seems to deter the fun! We will miss you this Christmas :( but have a Merry Little One! Are you reading Jotham's Journey?

Wow! We have yet to get any accumulation here, as your mom said, just some flurries blowing around! My kids LOVE the snow too and they don't mind the temp's as much as I do..I like to watch the snow from the nice, warm, indoors (: Have a very blessed Christmas!
