Awwww...bittersweet moment!!
She has grown a lot since you started your blog! :) I am amazed that the ice on the lake is even thick enough to skate on.
The ice gets thick fast when temps don't get above 10 degrees for days at a time! Yesterday the high was zero. We are looking forward to the 20 degree temps that are on the horizon....heat wave! :)

Very cute! I should have tried Ava's technique when I tried ice skating for the first time a few wks ago. :)
